Self hypnosis is a very diverse and complex subject. It offers many benefits to physical health, mental health, the ability to relax, the ability to better focus one’s attention and has many more uses as well as benefits to fit individual needs.
Self hypnosis became commonplace in the late sixties and early seventies as a means, or perhaps as a byproduct of meditation and the attempt of people to better help themselves both physically and mentally. With the advent of yoga and meditation classes and increasing conscious awareness in regards to stress, stress relief and mental and physical well being, it was only natural that self hypnosis would follow a similar course.
The art of self hypnosis is very similar to meditation. While that is not to say that they are the same in every aspect, they do have distinct similarities. Self hypnosis requires the devotee to have a quiet place where they can be free from interruption. An abbreviated session of introspective contemplation ensues. Through the art of self hypnosis, the person can become more aware of their distinct individuality not only physically and mentally but emotionally as well, and be better prepared to take on the challenges of the ever changing stressful world we live in.
Self hypnosis provides many benefits for the user. While it will take time to practice and perfect the art of self hypnosis, the end result can add time and years to an individual’s life, and perhaps even more importantly, add quality of living to those years. Self hypnosis is not a quick fix by any means. For some people it takes years of intensive practice to perfect the art. While others may benefit more from the meditative quality of the sessions, some will be able to perfect self hypnosis to the point they can actually accomplish things that were previously impossible for them even to imagine, much less accomplish.
There are many schools which will teach self hypnosis. It helps to know the person who is teaching the skill and it needs to be understood that it will not perform miracles overnight. If someone is advertising self hypnosis as a quick cure for all of the ailments of mankind, it should be questioned. If someone is willing to take the time and mental discipline necessary to improve their ability and awareness with self hypnosis, the results will be positive and lasting. Self hypnosis can have a very positive effect on the individual like any tool, self hypnosis is only as good as the person practicing it.

To call acceptance simply a power tool really doesn’t even do it justicein many ways, it’s the power tool. Acceptance is the “escape hatch” from duality! The tethers to duality are judgment and resistance. The antidote to judgment and other forms of resistance is acceptance. When you practice acceptance, you are necessarily in Prime Matrix, because acceptance is in alignment with Source. Source does not judge or exclude; accordingly, Prime Matrix accepts and includes All.
Some people think that accepting something means that you’re condoning it or approving of it, and, indeed, this is consistent with the dictionary definition of the word. But what we’re talking about here is simply allowing something to be without offering resistance or judgment. “Allowance” is another term that may add clarity to your understanding of the evolved meaning of acceptance. Acceptance means that instead of characterizing something as either right or wrong, worthy or unworthy of your Love, your attitude toward it is “It simply is.”
The egothat “always looking for a way to block the flow” entityis the aspect of you that has problems with acceptance, of course. Judgment is its premier tool to keep us out of the Flow and mired in duality where it is the king. Without making judgments about who is good, who is bad, what is right, what is wrong, what behavior is is acceptable, what behavior is condemnable, ego would be out of a job. Some of us are looking to put ego out of work, or at least, give it a much lighter workload. Acceptance is how to do that.
Acceptance is like neutral in the gears of a car. When you are in reverse, you must move the gear shift into neutral before moving it into a forward gear. When you are in judgment, you are in reverse polarity, sustaining a magnetic gap between you and the Source of Life Force/Love. When you move into acceptance, you move into the place of neutrality so that you can realign with the Flow of Love again and move with the Flow instead of against it. Only when you are in acceptance, are you able to channel Love to the issue at hand. Love is the only transformational force in the universe. Acceptance is so powerful because it is what allows Love to flow.

If you’re thinking about getting a handsaw, there are a few things you should keep in mind when making your choice. What follows are just some simple tips and common sense to help make your choice a little easier to make. Of course, when it doubt, tell a professional what the saw will be used for and ask his advice.
With so many different handsaws to choose from, just what makes up a good set that will be able to handle the variety of tasks that you’re likely to run into? Well, that has a lot to do with just what it is you’re expecting to do. If you want to be prepared for the most common tasks these are the saws that the experts recommend.
You should start off with a good crosscut saw. This is your basic saw for most tasks. You’ll probably want to get a standard 26 inch saw with 8 to 10 points. These saws are very common, easy to get and you can probably even get one used on the vintage saw market.
If you’re a woodworker you’re probably going to want to have at least one backsaw. Most woodworkers will actually have several of these with different blade and point sizes. If you’re a beginner then a 14 to 16 inch saw with 10 to 12 points is a good start. It’s large enough to use with a mitre box but small enough to be used for finer joinery chores. These aren’t quite as common on the vintage tool market but you can still find them if you look hard enough.
Another saw you should have in your collection is a coping saw, especially if you’re planning to do a lot of curved cutting. These are also very useful saws for certain joinery tasks. Coping saws are very delicate, so finding one on the vintage tool market is very hard. You may need to go out and get yourself a new one.
A rip saw is invaluable if you’re planning to do any ripping. You might want to get a standard 26 inch saw with 5 to 7 points. These are fairly common on the used saw market so you shouldn’t have trouble picking one up cheap.
The above would constitute a standard basic set and should take care of just about any chore you run across. If you have a few extra bucks and want to add onto this set, the following saws will also come in handy.
A good addition is a Dovetail saw, which is a form of a backsaw. These are great for doing fine joinery. You probably want to get one that is 8 to 10 inches.
Adding a fret saw is also a good idea. You can do much larger work with these than with an ordinary coping saw. These are very useful for marquetry.
Many woodworkers like what is called a rip cut backsaw. These are backsaws that are filed for ripping. These are kind of hard to come by but any good saw shop should be able to recut the teeth of a crosscut saw to give you what you’re looking for.
With the above saws in your collection, there is little chance you’ll run into a job that you won’t be able to do.
